Brooklyn and Nala's New Friend

Brooklyn held tight to the leash.
Nala's fur was like a fluffy cloud on a leash.

They stepped outside, and cool air greeted them.
Excitement bubbled in Brooklyn's chest.

Nala barked at a butterfly, playful.
A giggle escaped Brooklyn's lips.

The boy knelt, hands out.

'Her fluff is awesome,' the boy grinned.
Brooklyn beamed, proud.

They talked and laughed, sharing stories.
Nala wagged her tail, happy.

The sun began to set, day's end near.
'It's time for us to go home,' Brooklyn said.

The boy stood up, eyes bright.
'Can I walk with you tomorrow?' he asked.

Brooklyn nodded, a new friendship blooming.
'Tomorrow, it's a date,' she replied.

As they waved goodbye, Nala barked gently.
Brooklyn whispered, 'Looks like you've made a friend too.'
