Brooklyn and Jaden were excited to play. Mikael said, 'Let's find the new playground in Villa Borghese!' Stephanie packed snacks. They left their home, crossing the bridge to the park.
Inside Villa Borghese, paths twisted like spaghetti. 'This way!' Brooklyn pointed. But the playground was not there. Trees laughed as leaves rustled. 'We're lost,' Mikael smiled. 'An adventure!' said Stephanie, bouncing a tennis ball.
They found a pond with ducks and a boat. Jaden clapped. 'Boat, boat!' They rode across, waving at fish. Brooklyn saw a big building. 'A castle!' she cheered. It was the Borghese Gallery. 'Art inside,' Mikael explained. 'Like sports for eyes.'
The sun started to hug the horizon. 'Look!' Jaden pointed up. They watched colors dance in the sky. Brooklyn felt happy. 'Best adventure ever,' she said. As stars appeared, they found electric scooters. Stephanie showed Brooklyn the button. 'It's like tennis for feet!' she laughed.
The family zoomed back on scooters. Cold air tickled their noses. Lights blinked hello from their apartment in Prati. Brooklyn hugged Jaden. 'We played in a giant playground!' she said. And after dinner, she drew a picture of the castle and the sunset to remember their adventure.
