Jaden held the leash tightly.
"Toshi is bouncy!" Billie laughed as the black pug hopped like a bunny.
"Toshi, no chewing!" Jaden scolded when the pug nibbled on a flower.
Billie and Jaden led Toshi to the park, giggling when he chased his tail.
"Toshi, come back!" they yelled in unison as the pug dashed after a squirrel.
With teamwork, they coaxed Toshi back with a treat.
On the way home, Toshi tried to splash in a muddy puddle.
"We keep Toshi clean," Jaden said, steering him away.
Back home, Jaden and Billie gave Toshi water and a pat.
"We did it, we're responsible!" they cheered, high-fiving.
Toshi woofed as if to say, "Good job, little humans!"
