- Only the stepsisters go to the ball. Cinderella is forbidden from going and given impossible chores instead. If her stepmother finds out that she goes, she’d be in so much trouble — she’d never let her do anything other than be a servant for the rest of her life.
- Cinderella weeps alone. Her fairy godmother appears
- Using magic, the fairy godmother transforms something into a way for Cinderella to get to the event. She gives Cinderella the thing she needs to have to attend — the thing the stepsisters have too. But at midnight the magic runs out, the something that was turned into a way for her to get to the event will go back to normal and not be good enough for her to return home. She’ll also no longer have the thing needed to attend as it will disappear.

- He comes to the home of the Cinderella, the stepsisters, and the stepmother
- The stepsisters try and fail to fit it
- The stepmother tries to hide Cinderella but the Prince finds her
- The thing fits Cinderella perfectly
- The Prince finds her and banishes the stepsisters and stepmother. Cinderella gets to be happy in some way.
